The Fine and Performing Arts Center combines teaching, performance and exhibit spaces for the Performing Arts (Music and Theatre) Departments and Visual Arts Department as well as general purpose classroom space. Some of the major features of this building include: • 400 seat Concert Hall • 254 seat Proscenium Theatre • 125 seat Studio/Black Box Theatre • Piano Lab for 12 students with one dozen pianos • Design, Painting and Drawing Studios • Ceramic and Sculpture Studios • Instrumental and Choral Rehearsal Rooms • Departmental Offices and General Classrooms The Fine Arts Instructional Center is equipped with state-of-the-art technology from lighting systems to sound systems.

PROJECT DETAILS

A high standard of sustainability was met through the use of natural lighting, automatic lighting controls, reflective roofing, high performance exterior façade featuring, energy efficient HVAC system including heat-recovery system and low flow plumbing fixtures.
