Volunteering with Metropolitan Ministries has become a much-loved tradition at Barr & Barr. This incredible organization helps over 10,000 families every year and provides over 140,000 nights of safe shelter to children and their parents. In addition to Hillsborough County, Metropolitan Ministries has grown to serve families in need in Pinellas, Pasco and surrounding counties. This year, our group worked in the holiday tent sorting donated toys and food – preparing for the upcoming distribution. Parents can select free toys for their children and pick up meal supplies to create the special memories and celebrations that every family deserves. We’re touched and thankful to play a small role for this wonderful group, helping to serve poor and homeless families throughout the year!
