We’re thrilled to announce Andrew Quirk has joined Barr & Barr as Executive Vice President of our Mid-Atlantic Region. Barr & Barr’s presence has steadily grown throughout the area and Andrew will provide pivotal, proven leadership during our continued expansion.
With over thirty-five years of experience in the design and construction industries, Andrew has successfully delivered challenging projects across various market sectors. His list of clients include UNC Health, Duke Health, Moffitt Cancer Center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, University of Florida Health-Shands, Johnson & Johnson, LSU University Medical Center, the National Institutes of Health, Pfizer, Novartis, the Food & Drug Administration, and many others. Andrew has also worked internationally with projects in the United Kingdom for The Barts and London Hospital NHS Trust and the Karolinska Hospital and Research Center in Stockholm, Sweden. In total, Andrew has managed over $10 billion in Healthcare and Life Sciences facilities. He is a dedicated leader that’s built countless long-term relationships with clients, vendors and communities.
Andrew focuses on strategies that directly benefit clients such as lean design, reducing construction costs, prefabrication, and methods for adapting to the changing built environment. In the past, he’s advised clients on targeted Master Planning, Right-Sizing decision-making, as well as approaches to Procurement of Design and Construction Services.
Andrew earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute. He has earned various business and strategic leadership certificates from Harvard University, the University of Pittsburgh and IMD – Lausanne, Switzerland. Andrew is also a licensed architect and contractor. His broad range of experience and his first-hand knowledge of industry-leading trends will be invaluable to Barr & Barr.
