USF Taneja College of Pharmacy and Morsani Interior Buildouts
Multiple interior renovations, inside an active research and higher educational facility in downtown Tampa on a very tight, limited site in a high-rise building (the USF Morsani College of Medicine and Heart Institute). Scope includes the Taneja College of Pharmacy interior Post-Secondary Education build-out of the existing Levels 11 and 12 (full floor) shell space. Interior spaces include: open classrooms, Dean/Executive Suite, (2) 120-seat classrooms/auditoriums on the 11th FL and (1) 100-seat classroom on the 12th FL, experiential learning, study areas, offices, break room, and new restrooms. The construction is in an occupied building and disruption to the existing operations of the building must be coordinated with the tenants and minimized. Levels 6 – 9 Buildout scopes include: research laboratories, open wet labs, environmental control rooms, faculty offices, breakrooms, tissue culture rooms, administrative, partial vivarium (9th FL), storage and others. USF’s College of Medicine provide its graduate medical students learning opportunities and hands-on training through this facility.
