Yesterday afternoon the community at Guilford County held an informal sign dedication ceremony for our Guilford County Schools, Erwin Montessori Rebuild project. This is a particularly exciting moment in the community, because after tornado damage in 2018 numerous students had to be displaced to different locations. This rebuild marks a critical investment in the community with groundbreaking scheduled for this fall and completion anticipated in 2027. The project scope includes complete demolition of the existing school and construction of a new two story, 69,000-SF Montessori school in its place. Our partners, Andre Johnson Architects, HORUS Construction and All for 1 have all worked as a collaborative team to get this project underway. The Erwin Montessori Rebuild will make a great impact to its community and we are all very excited and proud to play a part in its success!
